FUEL INJECTORS

There are two type of fuel rails made by Radium: upgrade rails and top feed conversion rails. Upgrade rails only upgrade the rail and the OEM fuel injectors can be reused. If an upgrade to the injectors is desired, they must be equivalent to the OEM injector, meaning they must be the same height and the upper & lower O-rings must match the OEM diameters and styles. Top feed conversion rails are used to convert a vehicle that has side feed (or sometimes air-assist) injectors over to a top feed injector.

This fuel rail is an upgrade rail. OEM or OEM equivalent injectors must be used. Depending on the engine these are installed onto, the injector dimensions will vary. Injectors must match the intake manifold used (i.e. LS1 injectors with LS1 manifold, LS2 injectors with LS2 manifold, etc.)

Radium does not make fuel injector recommendations.

Consult your tuner for injector brand or flow rate recommendations.
Consult the injector manufacturer for a part number that has the correct dimensions.

OVERVIEW

20-0232 Fuel Rails GM LS1,LS2,LS3,LS6,L76,L99

Manufactured with a large 0.69" internal bore, the fuel rails can support all necessary engine power requirements. They are CNC machined from extruded 6063 aluminum, black anodized, and laser etched for a high quality surface finish. All end ports are machined with 8AN ORB (3/4-16 female) threads. The lower center ports can be used for optional adapters and are also tapped with 8AN ORB (3/4-16 female) threads. For a list of 8AN ORB adapter fittings, go HERE.

The kit features specifically designed billet mounts. These modular 'feet' allow compatibility on the following GM LS engines by simply flipping them and reinstalling into different threaded holes on the rails: LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, L76, L99
Like the OEM fuel rails, the injector bores are 14mm ID so factory injectors are permitted.

These fuel rails are compatible with all fuel types including popular alcohol mixtures such as E85.

The fuel rail ports are tapped for 8AN ORB fittings.

Appropriate fittings must be selected based on the specific application. Ample space around the fuel rail port(s) is necessary for larger accessories such as fuel pressure regulators, fuel pressure gauges, and fuel pulse dampers. To verify clearance, the dimensional drawings on the product pages can be used as a reference guide.

The Fuel Rail Plumbing Kit reuses the OEM fuel feed hose. It is a direct bolt-on for LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, L76, and L99 engines.

The inlet fitting permits the use of the OEM SAE quick connector. A PTFE -8AN crossover hose is used for the front of the rails. Plugs are provided for all unused ports.
