FUEL INJECTORS

There are two type of fuel rails made by Radium: upgrade rails and top feed conversion rails. Upgrade rails only upgrade the rail and the OEM fuel injectors can be reused. If an upgrade to the injectors is desired, they must be equivalent to the OEM injector, meaning they must be the same height and the upper & lower O-rings must match the OEM diameters and styles. Top feed conversion rails are used to convert a vehicle that has side feed (or sometimes air-assist) injectors over to a top feed injector.

This fuel rail is an upgrade rail. OEM or OEM equivalent injectors must be used.

Radium does not make fuel injector recommendations.

Consult your tuner for injector brand or flow rate recommendations.
Consult the injector manufacturer for a part number that has the correct dimensions.

OVERVIEW

20-0320 Ford Shelby GT500 Fuel Rails

This kit offers a total of eight 3/4-16 (8AN ORB) threaded ports to allow plumbing of ancillary fuel system devices. In order to clear the supercharger's intake pipe, the LH fuel rail (shown above) features three ports. The lower center port for both rails are most commonly used for Radium Engineering fuel pulse dampers. The RH fuel rail (shown below) features all the ports from the LH side fuel rail with the addition of two top ports (5 total). The top front port is for the provided adapter that is used to mount the OEM fuel pressure sensor. The top rear port is commonly used for aftermarket fuel pressure monitoring. This kit is compatible with all fuel types including popular alcohol mixtures such as E85.

The fuel rail ports are tapped for 8AN ORB fittings.

Appropriate fittings must be selected based on the specific application. Ample space around the fuel rail port(s) is necessary for larger accessories such as fuel pressure regulators, fuel pressure gauges, and fuel pulse dampers. To verify clearance, the dimensional drawings on the product pages can be used as a reference guide.

20-0334-11 Fuel Rail Plumbing Kit, S197 Mustang

The plumbing kit allows for easy integration with the the OEM fuel system. Unlike others on the market, the kit does not reuse the awkward 180 degree feed line with the fuel rails fed in series. Instead, this kit eliminates any unnecessary fuel hoses that route over the top of the engine preheating the fuel. The kit plumbs the fuel rails starting from the OEM hard pipe near the firewall and feeds the rails in parallel for even fuel distribution with the use of our high flowing Y-adapter fitting. All hoses are high quality PTFE and are compatible will all fuel types including E85. Billet aluminum O-ring plugs are included for all unused ports on the fuel rail.
