FUEL INJECTORS

There are two type of fuel rails made by Radium: upgrade rails and top feed conversion rails. Upgrade rails only upgrade the rail and the OEM fuel injectors can be reused. If an upgrade to the injectors is desired, they must be equivalent to the OEM injector, meaning they must be the same height and the upper & lower O-rings must match the OEM diameters and styles. Top feed conversion rails are used to convert a vehicle that has side feed (or sometimes air-assist) injectors over to a top feed injector.

This fuel rail is an upgrade rail. OEM or OEM equivalent injectors must be used.

Radium does not make fuel injector recommendations.

Consult your tuner for injector brand or flow rate recommendations.
Consult the injector manufacturer for a part number that has the correct dimensions.

OVERVIEW

20-1056 Nissan VK56DE Fuel Rails

Manufactured with large internal bores, the fuel rails can support all necessary engine power requirements. They are CNC machined from solid 6061 aluminum, black anodized, and laser etched for a high quality surface finish. Like the OEM fuel rails, the injector bores are 14mm ID so factory injectors are permitted. There are provisions for the retaining clips for proper indexing of all OEM fuel injectors.

Each fuel fail has five 8AN ORB ports (ten total). Appropriate fittings must be selected based on the specific application. Ample space around the fuel rail port(s) is necessary for larger accessories such as fuel pressure regulators, fuel pressure gauges, and fuel pulse dampers. To verify clearance, the dimensional drawings on the product pages can be used as a reference guide.

20-1056-PK Fuel Rail Plumbing Kit, Nissan VK56DE

The fuel rail plumbing kit allows for an OEM bolt-on affair. Nothing else is required to fully replace the OEM fuel rail system. All OEM fuel hoses and pulse dampers are reused. The 8AN crossover is manufactured from high quality PTFE hose compatible will all fuel types including E85. Plugs are included for all unused ports.
