FUEL INJECTORS

There are two type of fuel rails made by Radium: upgrade rails and top feed conversion rails. Upgrade rails only upgrade the rail and the OEM fuel injectors can be reused. If an upgrade to the injectors is desired, they must be equivalent to the OEM injector, meaning they must be the same height and the upper & lower O-rings must match the OEM diameters and styles. Top feed conversion rails are used to convert a vehicle that has side feed (or sometimes air-assist) injectors over to a top feed injector.

This fuel rail is an upgrade rail. The OEM injector uses a slightly smaller than 11mm o-ring. To maximize aftermarket injector compatibility, this rail was made with 11mm upper injector bores. To install OEM injectors, use the included 11mm upper o-rings. To use aftermarket injectors, use OEM equivalent injectors with an 11mm upper o-ring.

Radium does not make fuel injector recommendations.

OVERVIEW

20-0757 FUEL RAIL, NISSAN RB20DET

This Nissan RB20DET fuel rail is manufactured with a large 0.69" internal bore, the fuel rail can support all necessary engine power requirements.

The rail is CNC machined from a custom 6063 aluminum extrusion and black anodized and laser etched for a high quality surface finish. It incorporates many lightweight features to go with the strong integrated gusset mounts, shown below.

The upper injector bores are machined with a common 11mm ID (Denso). Use the included O-rings if re-using the OEM injectors, otherwise the included O-rings will not be needed. As shown below, the front, rear, and center ports use 8AN ORB (3/4"-16 O-ring threads) to accept many adapter fittings for custom high flow fuel system builds.

The rail is compatible with all fuel types including popular alcohol mixtures such as E85

This fuel rail features three 8AN ORB ports, two located at the ends and one in the middle. It also features one 1/8 NPT port.

Appropriate fittings must be selected based on the specific application. Ample space around the fuel rail port(s) is necessary for larger accessories such as fuel pressure regulators, fuel pressure gauges, and fuel pulse dampers. To verify clearance, the dimensional drawings on the product pages can be used as a reference guide.

NOTE: This fuel rail does NOT come standard with fittings (see plumbing kit below).

20-0217-PK FUEL RAIL PLUMBING KIT, NISSAN RB

The plumbing kit permits a complete bolt-on affair for the fuel rail. Fuel hose is provided to connect the fuel filter to the rear of the fuel rail via a 6AN hose end and adapter fitting. A FPR adapter is provided to mount the OEM fuel pressure regulator to the front fuel rail port. Fuel hose is included to connect the FPR to the hard line on the frame rail. Stainless steel EFI clamps are included for securing all hose barbs. Plugs are provided for both the center port and the gauge port.
