OVERVIEW

Dry breaks allow quick fuel filling with no mess. The male dry break probe connects to a dump can fuel jug and the female dry break receiver installs on the vehicle's fuel filler. When the two couplings mesh together, both valve seals open and close with synchronized timing permitting no fuel leaks. Furthermore, it is no longer necessary to monitor the filling process when the dry break is used in conjunction with the 20-0535 Radium DSV Valve as vented air flow is automatically shut down when full.

NOTE: Radium Engineering dry break systems are compatible with other dry breaks of the same size.

20-1004-V Remote Mount Vented Female Dry Break 1.5in

Designed for remote mounting to an external surface such as a fender. Requires a 77mm (3.03") hole to be fabricated. Includes a 1.5in female dry break as well as a gasket, stainless steel hardware, an aluminum housing and aluminum nut ring. The vented fuel cap has roll-over protection in case the vehicle ever becomes inverted. The components, materials, and seals are compatible with all fuel types (unleaded and leaded gasoline, diesel, AV gas, methanol, ethanol, E15, E85, etc.). The o-ring sealed 1.5" barbed outlet is interchangeable. By simply removing 6 screws, a different outlet adapter (sold separately) can be installed.

Designed to install onto the fill spout of a dump can fuel jug. Anodized aluminum construction with stainless steel hardware featuring a 1.5" OD barb. The components, materials, and seals are compatible with all fuel types (unleaded and leaded gasoline, diesel, AV gas, methanol, ethanol, E15, E85, etc.). The new PRV (pressure relief valve) feature permits the sealed side of the dump can to be vented when exposed to warm temperatures. Simply push down on the center stainless steel valve to purge air pressure.

Threaded specifically to install into a Radium female dry break mount (not included). Anodized aluminum construction with stainless steel hardware and bronze bushings. 20-0495-V FCST 6-Bolt Dry Break 1.5in Female Direct Mount Vented

Designed for direct mounting onto a fuel cell. For mating, a 6-bolt flange with a 2.18" PCD bolt circle (as found on the older FCST) is required. Includes 20-0549-V Dry Break, 1.5in, Female, Vented as well as an aluminum housing, stainless steel hardware, and a gasket. The components, materials, and seals are compatible with all fuel types (unleaded and leaded gasoline, diesel, AV gas, methanol, ethanol, E15, E85, etc.).

15-0004 Dry Break Probe Cover

Designed to protect dirt and debris from contaminating the dynamic elements of a 1.5" dry break probe. Because it is manufactured from polyurethane leather, it does not dry out or absorb water making it easy to clean. The internal elastic band prevents the cover from falling off in high winds. Radium Engineering logo embroidery on 2 sides. To install, simply spread the cover over the probe like a sock. To uninstall, simply pull the integrated handle upwards.

20-0604 Dry Break Dust Cap

Designed to install specifically into a Radium Engineering female dry break. It prevents dirt and debris from falling into the fuel tank during refueling. The dust cap vents to balance internal fuel tank pressure changes. Anodized aluminum construction with stainless steel hardware and a tether assembly. 20-1007 Remote Mount Filler Adapter 2.25in

Radium Engineering 20-1004-V and 20-1005-V fuel fillers come standard with a common 1.5" barbed outlet fitting. This adapter converts the outlet to a 2.25" barbed fitting for those using a 2.25" fuel filler hose.

20-1008 Remote Mount Filler Adapter 24AN

Radium Engineering 20-1004-V and 20-1005-V fuel fillers come standard with a common 1.5" barbed outlet fitting. This adapter converts the outlet to a 24AN fitting. This adapter is great to use in conjunction with Radium 20-1009, as shown.

20-0704 DRY BREAK PROBE RESTRICTOR

Designed to meet sanctioning bodies such as WRL (World Racing League) and ZRS (Zenith). Machined from 6061 aluminum and type-II anodized for corrosion resistance. For tech inspection, the laser engraving "1-IN RESTRICTOR" displays compliance. The press-fit outer diameter is 1.24" (31.6mm) making it compatible with most 1.5" dry break probes.

ZRS RULE

6.2. "The fueling path must include a 1.00-inch (25.4mm) internal diameter restrictor between the container and the filler/dry-break. ZRS may audit and inspect resictor size in tech or the pit lane at any time."

WRL RULES

D.3.j. "The narrowest point of the hose, nozzle or funnel spout must be no larger than 1.000" inside diameter and made of a solid material."

D.3.m. "For any cars utilizing a quick disconnect/dry break for overflow, no larger than 1.000" restriction must be in place between QD/DB and container. 1" restrictors must also be in place on the vent side of a double-drybreak system where the vent recycles back into the dump can. Vent jugs must be clearly marked per D.3.a."

INSTALLATION

Press-fit the restrictor into the dry break probe inlet. Install the replacement tubing to the dry break and dump can barbs. NOTE: If pinch clamp pliers are not available, diagonal cutters can be used to cinch down the clamps.
