NOTE: The Deatschwerks DW440 brushless pump is of genuine OEM quality made by Bosch Motorsports. These DW440 pumps are compatible with the original Radium Engineering fuel pump strainer. Do NOT buy this fuel pump base for the DW440 brushless pump.

OVERVIEW

Radium Engineering uses a fuel pump strainer compatible with 1-3 pumps in many products. These are found in fuel hangers such as: MK4 Supra, FD3S RX-7, Civic Type-R, Early Nissan, R32 GT-R, 08-17 GM, C8 Corvette, etc. as well as universal products such as FCST-X, MPFST, MPFST-R, etc. The provided fuel pump base with those products is for 11mm OD pumps which include Bosch, Denso, Ti Automotive, Walbro, etc. This 13-1187 fuel filter base adapter permits the use of 12mm OD brushless pumps that are made in China. These pumps have the same ID inlet as the other aforementioned pumps. However, the die casted OD of their inlet is slightly larger. This prevents a press-fit for proper mounting and filtration when using the standard Radium Engineering fuel pump strainer.
