FUEL INJECTORS

20-0763-02 FUEL RAILS, TOP FEED CONVERSION, SUBARU EG33

Do NOT purchase "WRX top feed" injectors. These rails require a universal fuel injector. Compatible fuel injectors must have 14mm O-rings top and bottom and must match the 34mm height dimensions shown below.

OEM Injectors - The Radium Engineering fuel rail features 11mm injector bores making it compatible with the factory Subaru EZ30 Phase-I air-assist fuel injectors. No modifications are needed. If preparing to use aftermarket fuel injectors, read below.

Aftermarket Injectors - The Phase-I EZ30 uses air-assist emissions equipment. These engines use a unique OEM fuel injector that is not replicated in the aftermarket. In order to use universal aftermarket fuel injectors, these cylinder heads require the provided Radium injector seats. When these injector seats are installed into the air-assist cylinder heads, an aftermarket injector that is 48mm long with 11mm upper O-ring and 14mm lower O-ring must be used.

There are two type of fuel rails made by Radium: upgrade rails and top feed conversion rails. Upgrade rails only upgrade the rail and the OEM fuel injectors can be reused. If an upgrade to the injectors is desired, they must be equivalent to the OEM injector, meaning they must be the same height and the upper & lower O-rings must match the OEM diameters and styles. Top feed conversion rails are used to convert a vehicle that has side feed (or sometimes air-assist) injectors over to a top feed injector.

This fuel rail is an upgrade rail. OEM or OEM equivalent injectors must be used.

Radium does not make fuel injector recommendations.

Consult your tuner for injector brand or flow rate recommendations.
Consult the injector manufacturer for a part number that has the correct dimensions.

OVERVIEW

Manufactured with a large internal bore, the fuel rails can support all necessary engine power requirements. They are CNC machined from solid 6061 aluminum, black anodized, and laser etched for a high quality surface finish.

For injector height flexibility and thermal insulation, machined insulating spacers are included. Reference instruction manual for more information. The fuel rails are compatible with all fuel types including popular alcohol mixtures such as E85.

The fuel rail ports are tapped for 8AN ORB fittings.

Ample space around the fuel rail port(s) is necessary for larger accessories such as fuel pressure regulators, fuel pressure gauges, and fuel pulse dampers. The EG33 H-6 engine is found in the Subaru Alcyone SVX. Each fuel rail features three 8AN ORB threaded ports (6 total).

20-0764-02 FUEL RAILS, SUBARU PHASE-I EZ30

These H-6 fuel rails are for the original Subaru EZ30 Phase-I flat 6 engine. This engine is denoted by having a single exhaust port per bank. These engines also incorporate the Subaru air-assist fuel injection system. Each fuel rail has three 8AN ORB threaded ports (6 total). To reuse the OEM FPR, use 20-0301.

20-0765-02 FUEL RAILS, SUBARU PHASE-II EZ30 AND EZ36

These H-6 fuel rails are for the EZ30 (Phase-II) and EZ36 flat 6 engines. Each fuel rail has three 8AN ORB threaded ports (6 total). These rails are compatible with AVCS with ample clearance with the nearby AVCS solenoid.

NOTE: PHASE-II EZ30 ENGINE (ONLY). The front fuel rail port on the RH side cylinder head is very close to the AVCS. This port must be plugged using 14-0150 8AN ORB plug.
