COMPATIBILITY
These stainless steel support springs are compatible with many hoses, including:
- Radium Engineering PCV hose
- Radium Engineering EFI hose
NOTES:
- The listed dimensions are measured from the ID (inner diameter) of the hose.
- These support spring are not compatible with PTFE hose.
OVERVIEW
These stainless steel internal support springs are used to optimize flow through a soft rubber hose. They are commonly used in 2 different scenarios.
1. When rubber hoses require a tight radius bend, they will often kink. This "restriction" can be avoided by using these springs.
2. When a rubber hose experiences a high amount of vacuum, they can collapse. This is more common with larger hoses than smaller hoses. This "flattening" can be avoided by using these springs.
INSTALLATION NOTES
Each support spring is 1 meter (39") long. They are designed to be cut to length. For long hoses, these support springs can be stacked internally.
Insert the spring down into the respective rubber hose. Trim the end to allow for barbs to fit into the hose.
