OVERVIEW

The Radium Engineering PCV Baffle mounts to the engine block and replaces the factory plastic PCV plate and valve. Compared to the OEM unit, the CNC machined aluminum plate features an extra baffle to prevent oil sludge from entering the intake system without restricting air flow. There are two 10AN ORB ports machined above both aluminum baffles. 10AN ORB adapter fittings can be found HERE.

NOTE: The PCV baffle kit (20-0327-01) is not compatible with all related vehicles.

PLUMBING

The baffle plate uses one of the 10AN ORB ports to plumb directly to the intake manifold with a PCV valve inline to control airflow to the intake manifold, just as the OEM plate operated. This PCV breather circuit is closed under load/boost by the PCV valve and does not flow to prevent boost pressure from being pushed into the crankcase. The crankcase breather from the valve cover to the air filter inlet pipe is responsible for venting the crankcase under load/boost. If the crankcase breather is not adequate for ventilation under load, the second 10AN ORB port can be used as a second crankcase breather to the air filter inlet pipe. This will allow more ventilation to protect the crankcase from building any pressure.

20-0327-01 PCV BAFFLE KIT, FORD FOCUS ECOBOOST

This kit includes the baffle plate and associated fittings for a plug and play installation. This kit integrates perfectly with the OEM PCV tubing or with the Radium Engineering catch can kits HERE. Because the OEM Ford PCV valve leaks at all boost levels, this kit includes Radium Engineering's own upgraded 10AN ORB PCV Valve which prevents boost from leaking into the crankcase. No permanent vehicle modifications are required.

IMPORTANT: If using with the Radium Engineering Focus RS/ST catch can kits, select this option above. This will install perfectly with the PCV catch can kit and no other parts are needed. A check valve is not required.

20-0327-02 PCV BAFFLE ONLY, ECOBOOST, DURATEC, MZR

This part includes ONLY the Radium Engineering PCV plate and associated baffles and is intended for custom installations, or for vehicles that are not supported by the kit with fittings. It requires additional parts for complete installation. Custom plumbing for the specific vehicle will need to be configured by the installer. There are two 10AN ORB female ports allowing connection of breathers, catch cans, or oil return lines, for highly modified vehicles. 10AN ORB fittings are sold separately HERE.
