FUEL INJECTORS

There are two type of fuel rails made by Radium: upgrade rails and top feed conversion rails. Upgrade rails only upgrade the rail and the OEM fuel injectors can be reused. If an upgrade to the injectors is desired, they must be equivalent to the OEM injector, meaning they must be the same height and the upper & lower O-rings must match the OEM diameters and styles. Top feed conversion rails are used to convert a vehicle that has side feed (or sometimes air-assist) injectors over to a top feed injector.

This fuel rail is an upgrade rail. OEM or OEM equivalent injectors must be used.

Radium does not make fuel injector recommendations.

Consult your tuner for injector brand or flow rate recommendations.
Consult the injector manufacturer for a part number that has the correct dimensions.

OVERVIEW

20-0866 FUEL RAILS, AUDI R8, LAMBORGHINI HURACAN

Manufactured with very large 0.7" internal bores, the fuel rails can support all necessary engine power requirements. They are CNC machined from 6061 aluminum, anodized, and laser etched for a high quality surface finish. Each fuel rail has four 8AN ORB ports. Like the OEM fuel rails, the injector bores are 14mm ID so factory injectors, or any equivalent aftermarket injector, can be used. As shown below, the factory injector retaining clips can be reused.

The fuel rail ports are tapped for 8AN ORB fittings.

Appropriate fittings must be selected based on the specific application. Ample space around the fuel rail port(s) is necessary for larger accessories such as fuel pressure regulators, fuel pressure gauges, and fuel pulse dampers.

This kit includes the parts necessary to plumb your fuel rails to the OEM fuel system. It includes the 14-0119 and 14-0359 adapter fittings needed to install the OEM fuel pressure sensor, an 8AN crossover hose and fittings for the fuel feed lines.
