While this kit is compatible with both early model aluminum and late model plastic lower intake manifolds, it is not compatible with early model aluminum upper intake manifolds.

FUEL INJECTORS

There are two type of fuel rails made by Radium: upgrade rails and top feed conversion rails. Upgrade rails only upgrade the rail and the OEM fuel injectors can be reused. If an upgrade to the injectors is desired, they must be equivalent to the OEM injector, meaning they must be the same height and the upper & lower O-rings must match the OEM diameters and styles. Top feed conversion rails are used to convert a vehicle that has side feed (or sometimes air-assist) injectors over to a top feed injector.

This fuel rail is an upgrade rail. OEM or OEM equivalent injectors must be used.

Radium does not make fuel injector recommendations.

Consult your tuner for injector brand or flow rate recommendations.
Consult the injector manufacturer for a part number that has the correct dimensions.

OVERVIEW

This fuel rail ships with two different fuel rail mounts depending on the lower intake manifold. The early model engine uses an aluminum lower intake manifold and requires the long fuel rail mounts included in the kit.

The late model engine uses a polymer lower intake manifold. It requires the short fuel rail mounts included in the kit. With late model lower intake manifolds, a Radium Engineering fuel pulse damper can be used in the center port. This fuel rail is compatible with the OEM late model upper intake manifold when using OEM equivalent fuel injectors.

The OEM injector retaining clips can be reused.

The fuel rail ports are tapped for 8AN ORB fittings.

Appropriate fittings must be selected based on the specific application. Ample space around the fuel rail port(s) is necessary for larger accessories such as fuel pressure regulators, fuel pressure gauges, and fuel pulse dampers. To verify clearance, the dimensional drawings on the product pages can be used as a reference guide.
