OVERVIEW

Radium Engineering universal PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) valves. These are used when the OEM PCV is removed, needs to be moved to the catch can inlet, or for engines that may not already have a PCV system.
These are all compatible with Radium Engineering oil catch cans (all versions).

HOW IT WORKS

Just like an OEM PCV valve, the Radium PCV valve's internal plunger dynamically meters the appropriate amount of crankcase vent airflow based on the engine load. Proper PCV valves prevent the 'vacuum leak' that a check valve would create at low loads. Also, in the event of a intake manifold backfire, the PCV valve closes preventing combustible vapors from igniting in the crankcase.
