The Fuel Pressure Regulator-Damper (FPR-D) is the ultimate solution for consolidating critical fuel system components into a high-flow package. It is a fully functional high performance pressure regulator with a unique built-in fuel pulse damper, an industry first.
NOTES:
1. The FPR-D is compatible with all gasoline and alcohol blends of fuel including E85.
2. This product is NOT recommended for the low pressure side of mechanical fuel pumps.

FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR
The high flow 1:1 rising rate design has been tested to regulate over 1,400 liters per hour (see MORE DETAILS tab). Two interchangeable orifices are included to match the amount of fuel bypassed for the application. This added precision will resist diaphragm flutter and optimize pressure stability. Furthermore, with the addition of interchangeable return orifices, the regulator is a good match for big to small powered engines.
Fuel pressure is dialed in using the preload set screw on top.

Unlike many others, the stainless steel adjustament screw has super fine threads for resisting vacuum/boost leaks and fine tuning fuel pressure.

FUEL PULSE DAMPER
The integrated 1:1 fuel pulse damper stabilizes fuel pressure created by the fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, fuel injectors, etc. The base pressure requirement for maximum damping efficiency is 40-105psi (2.8-7.2bar). This range is base static pressure only. Any dynamic fuel pressure created by the rising rate FPR outside of this range is acceptable assuming the vacuum/boost reference line is connected.

NOTE: Base pressure is measured with the fuel pump running without a vacuum line connected to the regulator.

PORTS
The inlet (side) port and outlet (bottom) port feature large 10AN ORB (7/8"-14) threaded ports. Two -6AN and two -8AN adapter fittings are included to suit most aftermarket fuel systems. When installing, the O-rings require petroleum oil for lubrication.
The 1/8" NPT auxilary port can be used for monitoring fuel pressure, temperature, etc.

This Radium fuel pressure gauge is commonly used. A plug is included if this port will not be used. When installing, the NPT fitting requires PTFE paste for proper sealing.

MOUNTING
The FPR-D assembly features two M6x1mm threaded mounting holes. A laser cut anodized aluminum mounting plate with countersink M6x1mm bolts/nuts are included. The FPR-D can be mounted any direction including upside down.

This product IS NOT intended to be used directly on a fuel rail port.

The graph below shows the minimum fuel pressure the regulator can achieve as a function of pump flow rate. This test was performed with the adjustment screw completely backed out, no preload.

For example, if you have two pumps that flow 320LPH (total 640LPH), the approximate minimum pressure the regulator can achieve is about 23.5 psi. Note: if an OEM fuel pressure regulator is used for 640LPH, it will likely not be able to bypass enough fuel.

With the Radium FPR-D, simply spin the set screw clockwise to achieve higher pressures. Note: Most EFI systems operate at 43.5 psi (3Bar) static fuel pressure.
