OVERVIEW
A remote mounted fuel filler is NOT located directly on the fuel tank or fuel cell, but rather somewhere else on the vehicle, such as the fender. It is made up of 3 main components:
1. Remote filler. This is the filler housing and cap that attaches to the exterior of the vehicle.
2. Remote fill neck. This is the barbed or AN connection that attaches to the FCST or fuel cell.
3. Filler hose. This is the black or clear hose attaching #1 and #2 on this list.

COMPONENT 1: REMOTE FILLER
Choose from 3 styles of remote filler caps:
- Standard filler cap: This is a threaded fuel cap that is vented and has roll-over protection if the vehicle ever becomes inverted.
- Swing valve filler: This capless filler mimics modern OEM fillers and swings open when a filler nozzle is inserted. Nothing has to be unscrewed.
- Dry break filler: This quick-fill system mates to our 1.5" quick fill dry break dump cans for fast filling without spills.
Choose from 3 styles of remote fill hose attachment points:
- 1.5" Barb: This is a compact 1.5" barb, angled straight.
- 1.5" Elbow: This elbow attaches at a 75° angle and can rotate to point any direction. The elbow can be removed to attach a 24AN filler hose.
- 2.25" Barb: This is a compact 2.25" barb, angled straight.
COMPONENT 2: REMOTE FILL NECK
Choose from 2 styles of fill necks: The first is a simple straight barb, while the other is a 75° bent elbow that can be clocked any direction, or removed to attach a 24AN filler hose. The third option shown in the photos below is also a simple straight barb, but is 6-bolt and applies only to the discontinued FCST. Current versions of the FCST-X are all 3-bolt flanges.
COMPONENT 3: FILLER HOSE
1.5" filler hoses are available in black and in clear. When choosing, remember that the clear hose is not reinforced and the black hose is. This means that the clear hose does not bend well without kinking. The black hose can bend quite well.

The fuel filler typically secures to the vehicle body. The fuel cap swings open like an OEM "capless" fuel filler. Nothing has to be unscrewed. The swing valve seals using an FKM O-ring. Furthermore, a press-fit dust cap tethers from the flange mount for quick access. The 30mm opening is large enough for both gasoline and diesel fill nozzles.
The fill neck has a machined hose barb connection for 1.5in filler hose (available HERE). The outer diameter is 4.75in and uses 4.25in P.C.D for the five M5 bolts. Total height is 4.1in. Requires a 77mm (3.03in) hole to be fabricated. The o-ring sealed 1.5in barbed outlet is interchangeable. By simply removing 6 screws, a different outlet adapter (sold separately) can be installed. If needed, a tether is also provided, as shown below.
NOTES
- Uses the same threads as the dry break and the standard fill cap. They are all interchangeable.
- Does not include accessories to connect to the fuel tank.
- Can be upgraded later to a dry break using Radium 20-0549-V.
20-1004-V REMOTE MOUNT, VENTED FEMALE DRY BREAK, 1.5IN
Designed for remote mounting to an external surface such as a fender. Requires a 77mm (3.03") hole to be fabricated. Includes a 1.5in female dry break as well as a gasket, stainless steel hardware, an aluminum housing and aluminum nut ring. Also, an aluminum 75 degree 24AN hose end and a 1-7/8" wrench. The vented fuel cap has roll-over protection in case the vehicle ever becomes inverted. The components, materials, and seals are compatible with all fuel types (unleaded and leaded gasoline, diesel, AV gas, methanol, ethanol, E15, E85, etc.).

This fill neck is specific to the following FCSTs ONLY: 20-014X-XX, 20-049X-XX, 20-069X-XX, and 20-099X-XX. Remote mount fill necks for the newer FCST-X (20-199X-XX) can be found below.
This fill neck is primarily used with a body-mounted remote filler (not included). The fill neck has a machined hose barb connection for 1.5in filler hose. The fill neck features a flapper check valve for rollover protection.
20-1047 FCST-X 3-Bolt, Remote Mount Fill Neck, 24AN Elbow, 1.5in Barb
FITS FCST-X ONLY
This fill neck is specific to the FCST-X ONLY (20-1990-XX, 20-1991-00, 20-1992-XX, 20-1993-00, 20-1995-00). Remote mount fill necks for the older FCST (20-014X-XX, 20-049X-XX, 20-069X-XX, and 20-099X-XX) can be found above. The remote mount fill necks do not require a flapper valve. The roll over valve is integrated into the FCST-X.
This fill neck is primarily used with a body-mounted remote filler (see 20-0505-V). The 24AN fill neck mates to a 24AN hose end capable of 360 degree rotation. It features a 75 degree elbow and uses a 1.5in barb. A bespoke 1-7/8in aluminum wrench is provided for tightening the B-nut and prevent marring. The fill neck features a flapper check valve for rollover protection.
20-1027 FCST-X 3-Bolt, Remote Mount Fill Neck, Straight, 1.5in Barb

This fill hose is perfect for applications that need a visualization of the fuel dynamically filling. Depending on the fuel type used, the clear hose may become cloudy and translucent overtime. Unlike the black reinforced filler hose, this clear hose should be inspected occasionally and replaced if needed.
