OVERVIEW
The competition catch can extension is an upgrade specifically for customers who have one of the shorter VTE or VTA competition catch cans. The extension kit increases the catch can volume to 1 quart.
The kit includes an O-ring sealed aluminum section that screws into the center of the existing catch can. It also includes a longer o-ring sealed aluminum dipstick to make up for the increased depth with the extension.

- Increases short competition catch can's internal volume from 0.625 quarts to 1 quart (0.375 quart increase)
- Increases short competition catch can's height from 6.3 inches to 9.0 inches total
- Uses tight oversize o-ring to mate to lower reservoir so that it will attach and detach from the top as one piece for draining
INSTALLATION NOTES
Lubricate o-rings with o-ring lube, petroleum jelly, or motor oil before assembling. The bottom of the extension will have a larger o-ring to keep it tight to the bottom so that the two halves stay together during removal for emptying.
